The Consulate General is a state authority for foreign relations of the Russian Federation exercising consular functions on behalf of the Russian Federation within the boundaries of its consular district on the territory of Canada. The Consulate General's consular district includes four сanadian provinces: Ontario (excluding Ottawa), Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan.

Russian Consulate General in Toronto is open for public only by prior appointment daily from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, excluding weekends and Russian public holidays.
